New Items Added to My Store - Need Teachers' Help....

I've added a total of 5 items {Yea Me!} to my store... and more are coming very soon! Right now I'm focusing on the learning chips - because I am loving creating them for my own classroom! I need some teachers to help me evaluate and rate my items! The first 5 people to comment on this post with their top choice of question chips they would like to check out - will receive their pick of chips in exchange for them to evaluate the items in my Teachers Notebook store {this part is very important, please, please, please don't take the files if you don't intend to leave feedback in my store!} In your comment, please leave your email address! I would like to thank you in advance for your help!

For everyone else....here are the files from my store. I'm so excited to use these chips this coming year with my students. Seriously I have so many ideas on how to use these, and I know the students are going to love using them!

  1. I would be happy to take a look at the pre-reading ones! I think they are so important to activating prior knowledge.

  5. I would love to see the non-fiction question chips and help evaluate them. That is a great idea. I also only have a few items in my own TN store and might borrow your idea of sharing them with others to evaluate.

  10. I was given the opportunity to evaluate the non-fiction chips and I was really impressed! What a fun way to get the children engaged in responding to the text or article. There will be no complaining from the children! As a writing teacher, this activity is great for integrating reading and writing. I give it an A+!

  12. Such a wonderful idea! The chips provide a starting point for the students to initiate or expand their discussions before and after a science experiment or lesson! Love it! A+

  14. I evaluated the pre-reading chips and I thought they were perfect for getting the students talking about a story before they read it. I like how you have them predicting and making connections. By having students think or talk about these things beforehand, they are more likely to think about their reading and remember what they are reading Fantastic job! Love them!

  15. I was fortunate to be able to evaluate the Character Chips and I am already thinking of the different ways I can use these in my reading groups! My 3rd graders will love relating to the characters and these chips are not only full of great questions, but will provide them with a nice hands-on activity. I love the directions you include about mounting them to poker chips- that will be perfect! Thanks so much- I am off to check out the others in the series!!

  16. I had a chance to evaluate the non-fiction chips as well. I teach second grade and think that these would be great to use with literature circles when they are just starting to become more independent but still need some guidance with asking each other questions.

I am also thinking of using them as independent response to reading. Thanks Audrey!

Please come check out my blog when you have time!

  17. I was given the opportunity to evaluate the non-fiction questioning chips. I am overwhelmed with the possibilities for uses with these chips. There are several questions that cover a wide range of thinking skills. The chips can be used with several subjects in the classroom. I plan on using these with groups as well as individual uses incorporating it into my Daily 5 Work on Writing activities. Great activity! Can't wait to use it!!
